The pharmaceutical industry is one of the world’s most important sectors and is characterized by complex manufacturing processes and high quality standards. Our experience enables us to handle the demanding conditions that may arise in different production processes. Emission-control systems must be designed to accommodate possible concentration peaks and aggressive substances in the exhaust gas.
Regenerative Catalytic Oxidation (RCO)
RCO is ideal for operations with a defined pollutant composition and low to medium concentrations of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The catalyst enables oxidation at lower temperatures, which is beneficial where temperature-sensitive or aggressive substances are present. It also prevents the formation of undesirable by-products such as nitrogen oxides (NOx).
Regenerative Thermal Oxidation (RTO)
RTO is suitable for a broad range of pollutants and can handle high VOC concentrations, including sudden peaks. The exhaust gas passes through a ceramic heat-storage bed into the oxidation chamber, where VOCs are oxidized at high temperatures. The system is resistant to aggressive substances and provides high emission-removal efficiency (> 99%).
Activated Carbon Adsorber
For small and medium air volumes with low VOC concentrations, an activated carbon adsorber is a cost-effective solution. Activated carbon efficiently captures VOCs and can be periodically regenerated, allowing continuous operation with low running costs.
Our individual approach and in-depth industry expertise enable us to design and implement optimal pharmaceutical emission-control solutions that address the specific needs and challenges of your operation.
